Dr. Varan Perananthan, M.D., Ph.D., is a Senior Associate Consultant Gastroenterologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in esophageal diseases, with a clinical and research focus on the endoscopic management of achalasia, advanced therapeutic luminal endoscopy, complex reflux disease and strictures, and Barrett’s esophagus.
