Adyr A. Moss, M.D.

Adyr A. Moss, M.D., is a transplant surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. He specializes in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation and has extensive expertise in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, including surgical care for patients with benign and malignant liver and pancreatic diseases.

Dr. Moss is a member of Mayo Clinic’s Liver Transplant Program, Kidney Transplant Program, Pancreas Transplant Program, High-Risk Pancreatic Cancer Program and Early-Onset and Hereditary GI Cancers Program. He performs liver, kidney, pancreas, living donor liver and living donor kidney transplantation procedures and provides advanced surgical management for complex gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary cancers.

Dr. Moss has particular interests in hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, robotic pancreatic and liver surgery, radiofrequency and microwave ablation, combined kidney-pancreas transplantation and living donor transplantation. He also has experience managing positive crossmatch kidney transplantation and other complex transplant cases.

Dr. Moss completed transplant surgery fellowship training at the University of Minnesota and additional surgical training at Cleveland Clinic. He is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and has received recognition for excellence in education and academic leadership.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Moss has longstanding involvement in surgical education, cancer programs and institutional leadership. His participation in the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center and Cancer Center Executive Committee reflects his commitment to advancing multidisciplinary cancer care, transplantation and innovation in surgical treatment.
