Biographical summary
Antoni Kafrouni, M.D., is a board-certified Endocrinologist, originally from Venezuela. Dr. Kafrouni brings a global perspective to patient care and medical education. Fluent in Spanish and Arabic he is uniquely equipped to connect with and support a diverse patient population.
Dr. Kafrouni trained in Albany Medical College in New York, where he completed his endocrinology fellowship in 2019. Since then, he has developed a strong clinical focus on endocrine neoplasm, as well as bone and metabolic diseases, including diabetes.
He has received multiple accolades for his dedication to teaching including the Subspecialty Educator of the Year Award and has successfully mentored medical students and residents into competitive Endocrinology program.
