Biographical summary
Sarah Godfrey, M.D., MPH, is a board-certified cardiologist and palliative care specialist with dual appointments in the Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine/Division of Community Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care. Originally from New Jersey, she attended Harvard University. She subsequently graduated from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia Internal Medicine Residency, UT Southwestern Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, and UT Southwestern Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. She has been awarded the Dean's Award for Outstanding Contributions to P&S, Gold Medal, Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, Joseph N. Muschel Memorial Award, and Jo Ann McWhorter Award from her medical school, residency, and fellowships.
