Dr. Aslam is a rheumatologist with special interest in inflammatory arthritis and musculoskeletal ultrasound. His clinical focus includes:

  • Diagnosis and management of inflammatory arthritis conditions particularly rheumatoid arthritis, undifferentiated arthritis, gout and pseudogout
  • Performance of performs rheumatology pertinent ultrasound examinations and procedures. He is certified in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound by both the American College of Rheumatology (RhMSUS) and Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (RMSK)
  • Promoting patients' understanding of disease in the context of their unique circumstances
  • Working with the patient as a team to identify goals and expectations and jointly come up with management plans

In addition, Dr. Aslam is active in clinical research and has published several articles. He is also actively involved in the education of medical students, residents and fellows. He serves as a faculty mentor at the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists.
