Cameron Ledford, M.D., is a Consultant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Ledford specializes in Adult Reconstruction Surgery, and has special interests in primary hip and knee replacements (arthroplasty), including robotic joint replacement, as well as hip and knee revision surgery. He treats all disorders of the hip and knee, including: hip arthritis, knee arthritis, hip dysplasia, failed hip or knee replacements, periprosthetic joint infection, and hip/knee fractures.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Ledford received his orthopedic surgery training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, followed by a fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Ledford was named a Harry Memorial Scholar at Wichita State University, which is awarded based upon academic leadership, and remains one of Kansas' most prestigious scholarships. He was a captain on the conference winning, "Sweet 16" WSU basketball team in 2006 while also being named Senior Honor Man of the Year. During medical school and residency, Dr. Ledford served many leadership roles including President of his medical school class, John A. Feagin Medical Leadership scholar, and Chief Orthopedic Resident.

Dr. Ledford has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters within his field. He remains an active member of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, and serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty.
