Biographical summary
Dr. Bendel is a pain medicine physician, with a special interest in utilizing neuromodulation devices to treat chronic painful conditions. His clinical focus includes:
- Using implantable stimulator therapies to treat chronic spine pain and chronic neuropathic pain
- Adapting the newest technological advances to treat patients suffering from a wide variety of chronic pain conditions
- Application of interventional techniques for the treatment of cancer related pain
- Discovering an individual patient's functional goals and working with a multi-modal pain therapy approach to achieve them
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Bendel stays active in multiple research projects and publications each year. He is involved in the mentoring of young physicians and works to advance the neuromodulation practice within the pain division.
