Robert D. Pagan Rosado, M.D.

Dr. Robert Pagan-Rosado is a Sports Medicine and Pain Management specialist who serves as an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Originally from Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, he earned both his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and his Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then completed a Pain Medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

During his sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Pagan-Rosado gained extensive experience providing medical coverage for athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. His work included supporting teams such as the University of West Florida (NCAA Division II), Auburn University (NCAA Division I), the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins), and the Miami Marlins. He also contributed to athlete care during the NFL Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.

Dr. Pagan Rosado's clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports-related injuries, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthobiologics, and comprehensive non-surgical spine care. He is passionate about helping patients restore function and return to the activities they love.
