Julia S. Lehman, M.D.

Julia S. Lehman, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Lehman’s clinical and diagnostic expertise includes complex inflammatory skin diseases. She is committed to advancing patient care through collaboration, innovation, and education.

Dr. Lehman offers specialized care for individuals with inflammatory skin conditions including:

• Blistering skin conditions 
• Autoimmune connective tissue diseases
• Skin infections
• Graft-versus-host disease
• Lichen planus

Dr. Lehman serves as Chair of the Division of Dermatopathology and Cutaneous Immunopathology at Mayo Clinic, directs the Mayo Clinic Immunodermatology Laboratory, and serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Dermatology. She founded the Immunodermatology Diagnostics Collaborative to promote test standardization, quality improvement, multicenter scholarship, and national educational exchange. She is a Professor of Dermatology and of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. A thought-leader in the field, she has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles in the dermatology, pathology, and general medical literature.
