Robert C. Albright, Jr., D.O.

Robert C. Albright Jr., D.O., is a nephrologist, critical care physician, and professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He cares for patients with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, resistant hypertension, kidney stones, and hyponatremia. His clinical expertise includes outpatient and inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and care for serious kidney problems in the intensive care unit. Dr. Albright is board certified in internal medicine, nephrology, and previously, critical care medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and nephrology and critical care fellowship at Mayo Clinic. His work focuses on patient-centered healthcare delivery and improving dialysis and kidney care. He previously served as chair of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and held regional physician executive leadership roles with Mayo Clinic Health System in Southeast Minnesota.
