Eric J. Lehrer, M.D., is a radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Eastern Virginia Medical School where he served as Class President. Dr. Lehrer completed his radiation oncology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Lehrer specializes in treating tumors of the central nervous system, including both benign and malignant conditions. He has a particular interest in brain metastases and skull base tumors. He also specializes in ocular tumors, palliative care and metastatic disease. Dr. Lehrer has expertise in utilizing the most advanced radiation techniques, such as stereotactic radiosurgery, proton therapy, SBRT, IMRT, and adaptive radiotherapy planning. His major research interests involve incorporating immunotherapy into stereotactic radiosurgery in patients with brain metastases.
