Biographical summary
Michael Gurin, M.D., M.S., is a cardiac electrophysiologist with expertise in catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias as well as device implantation. Dr. Gurin provides comprehensive care for patients with complex rhythm disorders, emphasizing high-quality care and individualized treatment strategies.
Dr. Gurin received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard
Medical School, fellowship in cardiovascular disease at NYU Langone Health, and subspecialty fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his medical training, he also pursued a Master of Science in Nutrition and Metabolic Biology at Columbia University.
His clinical and research interests focus on the management of arrhythmias in patients with cardiac sarcoidosis, novel techniques, as well as outcomes research. He remains dedicated to advancing patient care through clinical innovation, outcomes research, and education.
