Biographical summary
Dr. Callie Davies is a specialist in sports medicine with a focus on ultrasound guided procedures, sports injuries, non-surgical fracture management, and osteoarthritis. She graduated magna cum
laude from the University of Arizona in Physiology. During medical school at the University of Arizona, Dr. Davies received the Rural Health Profession Program scholarship which funded her to learn and train in rural, underserved locations across the state. Upon graduating, she received a distinction in Rural Health and a distinction in Community Service. During her training she also received the Douglas Lindsey Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award in recognition of outstanding performance in emergency medicine. Dr. Davies completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Maricopa County Hospital and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Banner University Medical Center through the University of Arizona, Phoenix where she was a finalist for the High Value Idea Competition for building an Ultrasound Guided Procedure App as a checklist for patient safety and an adjunct to resident learning. She is currently one of the team physicians for Arizona State University. In her personal time, Dr. Davies volunteers for different marathon and triathlon events where she helps take care of endurance athletes. As an avid outdoorswoman and traveler, Dr. Davies enjoys helping athletes of all ages and abilities get back to the activity they love.
