Early Onset and Hereditary GI Cancers Program

To coordinate complex cancer care, the Early Onset and Hereditary GI Cancers Program works closely with several other specialty groups and practice areas. These include but are not limited to the following:

Multispecialty tumor boards

Program specialists meet weekly as a group to discuss treatment options for patients with early-onset gastrointestinal cancers. This ensures that the group discusses each patient in conjunction with relevant medical and surgical specialties and reviews the patient's imaging and pathology.

This is a distinctive feature of our cancer program. Dedicated time during our tumor boards is focused on those with early-onset and hereditary forms of gastrointestinal cancers.
