Early-Onset and Hereditary GI Cancers Program

To coordinate complex cancer care, the Early-Onset and Hereditary GI Cancers Program works closely with several other specialty groups and practice areas. These include but are not limited to the following:

Multispecialty tumor boards

Program specialists meet weekly as a group to discuss treatment options for patients with early-onset gastrointestinal cancers. This ensures that the group discusses each patient in conjunction with relevant medical and surgical specialties and reviews the patient's imaging and pathology.

This is a distinctive feature of our cancer program. Dedicated time during our tumor boards is focused on those with early-onset and hereditary forms of gastrointestinal cancers.
