Biographical summary
Shengzhen Tao, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and board-certified medical physicist at Mayo Clinic whose work focuses on developing and translating advanced MRI and CT technologies to improve patient care. His expertise includes ultra-high-field 7T MRI, photon-counting CT, advanced image acquisition and reconstruction, and artificial intelligence-enabled imaging, with the goal of enhancing image quality, increasing diagnostic accuracy, reducing scan time and radiation dose, and expanding the clinical capabilities of medical imaging.
