Jad G. Sfeir, M.D., M.S., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota where he holds a dual appointment in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition and the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology in the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Sfeir was the inaugural Kogod Scholar at the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging where he continues to study biomarkers of cellular senescence in the musculoskeletal system as well as skeletal senescence in type 2 diabetes.

His clinical interests include secondary fracture prevention, skeletal health in diabetes, rare bone diseases, as well as prevention and management of age-related decline in bone and muscle strength that leads to osteoporosis, frailty and sarcopenia.
