Ryan Schwertner, M.D., is a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging and image-guided intervention. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Florida and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Florida.

Dr. Schwertner's clinical interests include sports medicine imaging, as well as the evaluation of bone and soft tissue tumors. He performs a wide range of image-guided musculoskeletal procedures, including joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies of bone and soft tissue lesions.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Schwertner is actively involved in the training of Mayo Clinic radiology residents and musculoskeletal imaging fellows. In recognition of his commitment to medical education and mentorship, he received the Mayo Clinic Florida Fellow Teacher of the Year Award in 2025.
