Ryan W. Schwertner, M.D.

Ryan Schwertner, M.D., is a radiologist with specialty training in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention. Dr. Schwertner completed diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Florida and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic Florida. His clinical interests include sports imaging and imaging of bone and soft tissue tumors. Dr. Schwertner performs a variety of image guided procedures including joint injections, joint aspirations, and biopsy of both bone and soft tissue tumors. He has a strong interest in education and works closely with the Mayo Clinic Florida radiology residents and musculoskeletal fellows. Dr. Schwertner was awarded the Mayo Clinic Florida fellow teacher of the year in 2025.
