Leah Schecter, M.D., is a Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Community Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where she cares for individuals and families across Jacksonville and surrounding areas. She also serves as an instructor at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Schecter specializes in geriatric care, providing comprehensive management for dementia and associated symptoms, as well as long-term treatment of chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Her expertise also includes preventive women's health and bilingual care for Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring personalized care and clear communication for diverse populations.
