Hollie Saunders, M.D.

Hollie Saunders, M.D., is a pulmonary and critical care physician who specializes in pulmonary vascular disease. Her clinical focus includes primary and secondary pulmonary hypertension, chronic thromboembolic disease, care after pulmonary embolism, right heart failure, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. She completed advanced fellowship training in pulmonary hypertension and is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Saunders serves as medical director for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, also known as CTEPH. She is an assistant program director for the pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship and a core faculty member for the internal medicine residency.

Dr. Saunders takes an individualized, results-focused approach to care. She works to understand both a patient's medical condition and the symptoms affecting their quality of life. As she explains, "My goal is to treat you, not just name a diagnosis. I do not believe in offering explanations or medications that fail to meaningfully improve how you feel or function."
