Lisa Mielniczuk, M.D.

Lisa Mielniczuk, M.D., F.R.C.P.C., F.C.C.S., is a Board-Certified Physician in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Cardiac Transplantation. She received her medical degree at McMaster University and subsequently went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine from Queen's University and a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She also completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure/cardiac transplantation at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Her areas of clinical expertise include:

• heart failure and cardiomyopathy
• right heart failure
• pulmonary hypertension
• management of cardiac transplant candidates and recipients
• management of patients with left ventricular assist devices
