Dr. Tomas V. Gonzalez Cano, is a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging and image-guided breast procedures. As a member of the Breast Imaging and Intervention group, he focuses on the early detection and accurate diagnosis of breast disease and is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Dr. Gonzalez Cano received his medical degree from UT San Antonio and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Breast Imaging and Intervention at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He serves as an Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine where he teaches and mentors residents, fellows, and medical students.

In his clinical practice in Rochester, MN, Dr. Gonzalez Cano works with a multidisciplinary breast care team to provide coordinated care for patients undergoing breast imaging evaluation. He also contributes to the hospital and emergency radiology practice in Rochester, MN, interpreting imaging studies that support emergent and inpatient care.
