Abubakr A. Bajwa, M.D., is a board-certified Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Bajwa attended medical school at King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He obtained training in Internal Medicine at University of South Dakota and subspecialty training in Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and his Pulmonary Medicine training at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was Chief of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of Florida and Also served as Associate Chair of Medicine for Clinical Operations prior to joining Mayo Clinic as faculty.

Dr. Bajwa treats patients with Interstitial Lung Diseases and Pulmonary Hypertension and has an interest in advanced diagnostic procedures. His research focuses on interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension.
