Biographical summary
Dr. Adam Holtzman is a board-certified radiation oncologist with expertise in head and neck and skull-base tumors.
Dr. Holtzman received his BS and MD at the University of Florida (UF), where he completed the accelerated combined undergraduate and medical school honors program. He continued his post-graduate residency at UF and then as faculty at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute before joining Mayo Clinic Florida.
His primary research interest is in clinical trials and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including particle therapy. He has led several studies investigating and establishing the efficacy and safety for
high-dose conformal particle therapy.
