Mayo Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital is a 148-bed hospital where infants, children and teenagers, with support of their families, receive the highest quality medical care in a comfortable, caring environment. It's a pediatric "hospital within a hospital" — located within Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys campus.

Mayo Clinic physicians have outstanding expertise and experience in treating complex and rare pediatric diseases, attracting large numbers of patients. This experience enables our pediatric specialists to use their collective knowledge to provide the best answers for your child's condition.

In Mayo's family-centered children's hospital, medical experts from many specialties work as a team to meet your child's specific needs. As a Magnet hospital recognized for nursing excellence, children are cared for by dedicated pediatric nurses trained for the special needs of children and families.

Mayo Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital also reflects the developmental needs of children of various ages. Separate play areas supervised by child life specialists have been designed for infants, toddlers, preschool and school-age children. Teenagers occupy a separate floor and have their own activity lounge.

We also provide newborn and pediatric medical transport services, critical care response teams, pediatric pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, spiritual care and many more pediatric services.
