Mayo Clinic researchers are studying ways to improve care and outcomes for people who have pancreatectomy. Research includes new minimally invasive techniques and ways to reduce complications and improve recovery after surgery. Researchers also are studying quality of life and long-term health after pancreatectomy, including the effects of diabetes after total pancreatectomy.
