这项研究证实在可能的情况下完全切除转移灶对延长生命的重要性。妙佑医疗国际的另一项研究将评估手术和药物的相互作用，以确定二者联合治疗是否能进一步提高晚期肾癌患者（癌细胞已扩散）的生存率。
