Rochester construction updates Second Street Southwest closures near Saint Marys The morning of Monday, June 16, construction will reduce traffic on 2nd St SW just north of the Saint Marys Campus to a single lane in both directions between 11th and 12th Ave SW. The work, led by the City of Rochester, is to construct Link Bus Rapid Transit infrastructure that will be conveniently connected to Mayo Clinic’s Saint Marys Campus. The single-lane closure will not impact patient or emergency vehicle access, though patients are encouraged to allow extra time for their arrival and departure as traffic congestion may occur. Additional work to construct Link Bus Rapid Transit will be completed in phases throughout 2025 and 2026 along 2nd St SW between 11th and 16th Ave SW.
