Rochester construction updates Second Street Southwest Closure 2nd St SW will be closed to through traffic (all lanes, each direction) between 6th Ave SW and 4th Ave SW to make way for the construction of of a pedestrian subway tunnel. This tunnel will provide convenient access from the new clinical building to a future Rochester Public Transit station. Patients and visitors will still be able, and are encouraged, to continue to use 2nd St SW to access the West Gonda entrance and the Baldwin Building by following posted detour signage.
