Starting Monday, October 13, Mayo Clinic will launch a new patient shuttle offering direct service between Mayo Clinic Medical Complex Northwest, Building B (3033 41st Street Northwest), and the Baldwin Building in downtown Rochester.
Patients can park at Building B and ride the shuttle downtown, offering a free, convenient option for patients who prefer to avoid driving and parking downtown.
Shuttle details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, every 30 minutes — departing on the hour and at half past the hour.
- First departure: 6:30 a.m. from Mayo Clinic Medical Complex Northwest, Building B.
- Final departure: 6:30 p.m. from the Baldwin Building.
- Travel time: About 20 minutes, please plan accordingly based on your appointment check-in time.
- Accommodations: The patient off-site parking shuttle is handicap accessible.
Patients may park in the designated patient shuttle area. To access the waiting area, enter through Door B2, which is located on the south side of Building B (see map below). While they wait, patients can enjoy comfortable seating, restrooms, a café and a staffed welcome desk.
Although the shuttle only stops at the Baldwin Building, patients with appointments throughout the downtown campus are welcome to use this service. The Baldwin Building connects via the pedestrian subway system to the Mayo, Gonda, Hilton, Eisenberg, Charlton, and Jacobson Buildings.
