Patient park and ride shuttles
Mayo Clinic now offers two patient park and ride shuttle options with service from both the north and south sides of Rochester. Patients can park at either location and ride the shuttle downtown, providing a free, convenient option for those who prefer to avoid driving into campus.
North shuttle
The north patient park and ride shuttle provides direct service between Mayo Clinic Medical Complex Northwest, Building B, and the downtown Baldwin Building and Mayo Building’s east entrance.

Patients may park in the designated patient shuttle area on the south side of the building (side nearest to Target). While waiting, patients may remain in their vehicle or enter through Door B2 where comfortable seating, restrooms, a café and a staffed welcome desk are available.
New! South shuttle
Starting Oct 15. Mayo Clinic will launch a new patient park and ride shuttle option with direct service between Fleet Farm on the south side of Rochester and the downtown Baldwin Building and Mayo Building’s east entrance.

Fleet Farm
4891 Maine Ave. SE, Rochester
Patients may park in the designated patient shuttle area on the far west side of the parking lot (side nearest to Highway 63) near the transit shelter. While waiting, patients may remain in their vehicle or wait in the transit shelter. If a restroom is needed, please use the facilities within the Fleet Farm store.
North and south park and ride shuttle schedule:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, every 30 minutes, with departures on the hour and half hour.
- First departure: 6:30 a.m. from both Mayo Clinic Medical Complex Northwest, Building B, and Fleet Farm, with departures every 30 minutes thereafter.
- Final departure: 6:25 p.m. from the Mayo Building east entrance and 6:30 p.m. from the Baldwin Building to both north and south shuttle locations. Shuttles will be clearly labeled by destination.
- Travel time: Approximately 15 minutes from the park and ride lots to the Mayo Building east entrance and 25 minutes to the Baldwin Building. Patients should plan accordingly to arrive by their scheduled appointment check-in time.
- Accommodations: Patient park-and-ride shuttles are accessible and can accommodate children and strollers.
Although the shuttle only stops at the Baldwin and Mayo Buildings, patients with appointments throughout the downtown campus are welcome to use this service. Both buildings connect via the pedestrian subway system to the Gonda, Hilton, Eisenberg, Charlton and Jacobson Buildings, as well as the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center.
