Vivek Nagaraja, M.B.B.S, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist with expertise in the care of people with Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma) and Autoimmune Interstitial Lung Diseases (also called CTD-ILD). He is also the Chair for the Division of Rheumatology at Mayo Clinic Arizona.

Dr. Nagaraja attended medical school at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India. He did an extended internship training in United Kingdom. He obtained training in internal medicine and subspecialty training in geriatric medicine at University of Arizona (Tucson). He received further specialty training in rheumatology at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). He served as a faculty at University of Toledo (Assistant Professor) and University of Michigan (Associate Professor and Clinical Service Chief).

Dr. Nagaraja's clinical practice focuses on the multi-disciplinary care of patients with Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma) and Autoimmune Interstitial Lung Diseases (also called CTD-ILD). His research interests include clinical research and therapeutic clinical trials in scleroderma and CTD-ILD, and patient reported outcomes measurement in chronic rheumatic diseases.
