Dr. Valentina Zanfagnin earned her medical degree from the University of Turin, Italy, where she also completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She subsequently pursued postdoctoral research in Translational Medicine and Precision Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota before completing her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Zanfagnin received subspecialty training in Selective Surgical Pathology and in Women's and Perinatal Pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Zanfagnin's interest is in tumors of the female genital tract and tumors of the breast.

Dr. Zanfagnin speaks Italian in addition to English.
