Vamsi Velcheti, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.S.C.O., F.C.C.P., serves as Chief of Hematology and Oncology and Florida Department of Health Chair of Cancer Research at Mayo Clinic. A nationally recognized expert in lung cancer, Dr. Velcheti has been instrumental in the development of novel therapeutics and serves on national and international scientific and educational committees, including at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
