Dr. Jean-Claude M. Rwigema is a senior associate consultant and assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He completed residency in radiation oncology at UCLA where he served as chief resident, followed by a mayo scholar proton therapy fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. He treats primarily head and neck cancer and male genitourinary malignancies. He is also actively involved in clinical research and has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and abstracts, focusing on clinical outcomes and radiation damage countermeasures. He is frequently invited to present his research at national and international conferences.
