Robb K. Rowley, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician with expertise in genomic medicine and clinical bioinformatics.

Dr. Rowley earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center. He has held leadership roles in both military and civilian healthcare systems, including serving as Chief of Medical Bioinformatics and Genomics for the U.S. Air Force Medical Service and Vice Chief of Staff at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas. Most recently, he worked at the National Human Genome Research Institute, where he supported research to understand the impact of genomics on clinical care and studied best practices for incorporating genomics into clinical workflows.

Dr. Rowley’s clinical focus includes using genomics to help patients understand their risk for common diseases as it relates to the genetic component. He is particularly interested in early disease detection and personalized prevention strategies to reduce complications of disease thus improving quality of life. He has led multi-institutional research programs, contributed to national policy development, and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
