Biographical summary
Jing Qian, Ph.D., is a medical physicist in Radiation Oncology, with specialty clinical interest in proton therapy. His clinical interests include:
- Improvement on treatment delivery efficiency, treatment outcome and toxicity reduction
- Development of new technology on treatment delivery
- Quality assurance of treatment delivery and radiation devices
In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Qian is an active researcher on the modeling of treatment outcomes and treatment delivery techniques. He also provides mentorship to physics residents and postdoctoral fellows.
