Dr. Liao's clinical and research interests center on gastrointestinal and liver pathology, with particular expertise in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), appendiceal pathology, medical liver diseases, and hepatic neoplasms. Dr. Liao is a dedicated researcher and educator. She is an active member of both USCAP and the Gastrointestinal Pathology Society (GIPS).
