Biographical summary
Dan Larson, M.D., is a Hematopathologist and Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology in the Division of Hematopathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Larson is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. His practice mainly focuses on the diagnosis and subclassification of lymphomas and lymphoproliferative diseases, and also encompasses myeloid neoplasms, plasma cell myeloma, and amyloidosis.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Larson is active in research and education, providing mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows. He is the associate program director of the hematopathology fellowship in Rochester, as well as a lecturer and pathology residency advising director at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
