Dr. Daniel Campbell Dewey is a neurologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease, tremor, gait disorders, ataxia, and other complex movement disorders. He provides comprehensive, individualized care using advanced medical and procedural therapies, including deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming and electromyography (EMG)-guided botulinum toxin injections, to help patients improve mobility, function and quality of life.

Dr. Dewey has expertise in the evaluation and long-term management of movement disorders, with particular clinical interests in Parkinson's disease, tremor, gait impairment and cerebellar disorders. He works collaboratively across specialties and with rehabilitation services to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based therapies and reflect each patient's goals, symptoms and lifestyle.

After completing his undergraduate education at a private liberal arts college in Southern California, Dr. Dewey earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He remained at UT Southwestern to complete his neurology residency before pursuing fellowship training in Movement Disorders at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. His advanced training includes expertise in deep brain stimulation and EMG-guided botulinum toxin injections for the treatment of movement disorders and other neurologic conditions.

Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Dewey spent most of his childhood in Dallas, Texas, before returning to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training and ultimately joining the staff.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their two children (son and daughter).
