Dr. Gregory A. Broderick is a nationally and internationally recognized urologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in men's sexual and urinary health. With decades of experience treating complex urologic conditions, his clinical practice focuses on erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease and male stress urinary incontinence. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, individualized care that restores function and improves quality of life.

Dr. Broderick is widely recognized for his expertise in the evaluation and management of erectile dysfunction, including advanced therapies for men who have not responded to conservative treatment. His practice includes penile prosthesis implantation and revision, with an emphasis on helping patients select the treatment approach that best aligns with their goals, health status and lifestyle.

He has particular expertise in:

  • Surgical Management of urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
  • Urolift for men with mild to moderate prostate enlargement who want to avoid medications.
  • Aquablation as a precision robotic approach for large prostates, preserving erectile and ejaculatory function.
  • TURP, a treatment for nighttime urination, intended to simplify medical regimens and avoid side effects of multi-drug regimens.

An internationally respected authority on Peyronie's disease, Dr. Broderick offers a full spectrum of medical and surgical therapies, tailoring treatment plans to each patient's anatomy, symptoms and treatment objectives.

Dr. Broderick also has extensive experience treating male stress urinary incontinence, particularly following prostate cancer treatment or other pelvic surgery. He performs advanced reconstructive procedures, including male sling and artificial urinary sphincter implantation, to restore urinary control and improve daily function.

"My goal is to understand how a condition is affecting each patient's life – not just physically, but emotionally and personally," says Dr. Broderick. "The most rewarding part of my work is helping patients regain function, confidence and a sense of normalcy."

He values long-term relationships with patients and emphasizes shared decision-making to develop treatment plans that reflect each individual's needs and priorities.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Broderick is an internationally recognized researcher. He has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed publications and numerous textbook chapters, contributed to national clinical guidelines for erectile dysfunction and other men's health conditions, and served in leadership roles with the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the American Urological Association, and the American Board of Urology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Broderick enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
