Biographical summary
Neelesh Anand, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist.
Dr. Anand attended medical school at the University of Arizona - Tucson. Following medical school, Dr. Anand completed his anesthesiology residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School and subspecialty training in pain medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
Prior to joining Mayo, he was an assistant professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and the director of regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine at Valleywise Health, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Anand's clinical practice includes general anesthesiology with an expertise in regional anesthesiology and pain medicine. Dr. Anand's academic interests include trauma anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and chronic pain medicine.
