Joseph C. Ahn, M.D., M.S., is a transplant hepatologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he cares for people with advanced liver disease and those awaiting or recovering from liver transplantation. Dr. Ahn focuses on delivering personalized, evidence-based care for complex hepatology conditions, supporting patients through every stage of their journey. He is also part of the Joint Faculty in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Informatics. His research focuses on leveraging AI and machine learning to advance liver disease modeling, clinical predictions, and transplant outcomes.

Dr. Ahn is actively engaged in federally funded and foundation-supported research projects, has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and presents regularly at national and international conferences. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology/hepatology and completed advanced fellowship training in transplant hepatology at Mayo Clinic.
