1. A Study Of Clonal Hematopoiesis (CH) And Hematological Toxicity After Cancer Treatment

   Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The overall objective of this project is to combine robust clinical data (e.g. prior chemotherapy or radiation exposure, cumulative radiotheranostic dose) with geneticclonal abnormalities (blood-based CHIP panel) in studying the predisposing risk factors for developing hematological toxicity including t-MN in radiotheranostic treated solid tumor patients.

2. Patient Adherence and Symptoms During Post-operative Fluid Restriction Protocol After Transsphenoidal Surgery

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The objectives of this study are to survey patients during the post-operative period regarding their experience with fluid restriction including adherence and discomfort, and to document rates of hyponatremia and readmissions in post-operative patients.

   Advances in endonasal, endoscopic transsphenoidal surgical techniques have decreased complications and length of stay for persons undergoing resection of sellar and suprasellar masses  Previous research by investigators now at Mayo (SLS, AQH) has shown that particular interventions including fluid restriction post-operatively decrease patient morbidity (e.g., from hyponatremia) and readmissions while maintaining patient safety. However, the patient perspective on the impact of fluid restriction has not been documented.

    

3. A Study Of APG-3288 In Relapsed/Refractory Blood Cancers

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   This is a Phase I, multicenter, open-label, two-stage study of APG-3288 monotherapy, aiming to determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) and Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D) of APG-3288 administered orally once daily in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) hematologic malignancies.

4. Grief Among Older Adult Family Caregivers

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the trajectory of loss and grief over 12 months, the risk factors associated with high levels of pre-loss grief, and the preliminary effectiveness of ART for treatment of high levels of pre-loss grief among family caregivers (FCG) of persons nearing the end of life.

5. Upifitamab Rilsodotin Maintenance in Platinum-Sensitive Recurrent Ovarian Cancer (UP-NEXT)

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   UP-NEXT is a double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled study of the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) XMT-1536 (upifitamab rilsodotin) administered as an intravenous infusion for patients once every four weeks. Patients with recurrent, platinum-sensitive high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) including fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer expressing high levels of NaPi2b.

6. Specialty Compared To Oncology Delivered Palliative Care For Treating Acute Myeloid Leukemia

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether primary palliative care is an alternative strategy to specialty palliative care for improving quality of life, symptoms, mood, coping, and end of life outcomes in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

7. Evaluating Intestinal Microbiome And Immune Function In Lymphoma

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to examine the microbiome and immune function in patients with active lymphoma, and in patients with a history of lymphoma who are in clinical remission.

8. BiCaZO: A Study Combining Two Immunotherapies (Cabozantinib And Nivolumab) To Treat Patients With Advanced Melanoma Or Squamous Cell Head And Neck Cancer, An ImmunoMATCH Pilot Study

   Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of molecular characterization based on tumor mutational burden (TMB) for participant stratification, as assessed by the proportion of participants with less than or equal to a 21-day turnaround time for biopsy results in Stage I of the study. Also, to evaluate the feasibility of molecular characterization based on TMB and gene expression profiling (GEP) (for TIS - tumor inflammation signature) for stratification in the overall study (Stage I and Stage II). Additinoally, to evaluate the effectiveness by overall response rate (ORR – defined as confirmed and unconfirmed partial responses plus complete responses) of cabozantinib plus nivolumab in each disease cohort, both across and within tumor biomarker subgroups.

9. A Study of the Brain & Body Donation Program

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to study the structure and biochemistry of the brain and/or bodily fluid and tissue after death.  Comparison of specimens from normal and diseased individuals provide essential clues that lead to a greater understanding of the diseased state which, in turn, will lead to new ideas for therapy.

10. Circulating Tumor Nucleic Acids To Monitor Treatment Response In Metastatic Melanoma Patients

    Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

    This project will investigate whether the analysis of nucleic acids circulating in the blood from tumors can allow real-time monitoring of treatment response to targeted therapy and immunotherapy for patients who have stage IV metastatic melanoma.
