1. Brain Health and Dementia Prevention Registry

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to create a registry of patients having a clinical diagnosis and collect demographics, cognitive testing, blood and cerebrospinal fluid so that biomarkers and genetic difference can be found in different patient groups.

2. Inherited Muscle Diseases Repository

   Rochester, Minn.

   To establish a repository of DNA samples collected prospectively from patients with inherited myopathies of unknown molecular and/or biochemical defect. To access residual muscle specimens from diagnostic muscle biopsies obtained as part of the routine medical care. The biospecimens will be used to better understanding the underlying molecular defects and mechanisms of muscle diseases.

3. Electrophysiological Biomarkers for Parkinson's Disease

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This study will determine the validity of predictive and surrogate biomarkers for the detection of Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's disease cognitive decline.

4. A Study to Develop Liquid Biopsy for Pediatric Brain Tumor Patients

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to confirm detection of the H3K27M mutation in patient biofluids (CSF, blood, urine, saliva) and uncover the molecular histone (alkaline protein) profile of H3K trimethylation and H3S phosphorylation in the circulating nucleosomes isolated from the biofluids of patients with H3K27M tumors.

5. Gemini Study to Evaluate the Integration of Cancer Genetic Testing into a Cancer Clinical Practice at Mayo Clinic at Arizona

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of genetic mutations in cancer patients from various ethnic populations seeking care at Mayo Clinic cancer clinics.

6. A Study of Lutetium Lu 177 Dotatate (Lutathera®) in Patients with Inoperable, Progressive Meningioma after External Beam Radiation Therapy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 1 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate, and to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 2 or 3 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate.

    

7. A Study to Develop a Biorepository of Blood Samples from Cancer Patients Participating in the Gemini (IRB 19-006717) Protocol

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to develop a biorepository of blood samples  from cancer patients participating in the Gemini (IRB 19-006717) protocol. These samples will be used for future biomarker discovery and other translational studies. 

8. Long Term Clinical Outcomes of Devic’s Disease

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla.

   Aims, purpose, or objectives:

   1. To describe the clinical features along with treatment outcomes of a cohort of patients with a diagnosis of NMOSD after the latest revised criteria in 2015 by International Panel for Neuromyelitis Optica Diagnosis (IPND)
   2. To described the long term outcomes of a cohort of patients with a diagnosis of NMOSD
   3. To identify demographic, clinical and radiologic factors associated with long terms outcomes of NMOSD
   4. To determine if patients who are diagnosed with the revised 2015 IPND criteria, in particular those who do not satisfy previous criteria, are ultimately diagnosed with conditions other than NMOSD.
   5. To identify treatment effects and complications in this cohort of patients

9. Stem Cells from Skin Fibroblasts in Patients with Hereditary Peripheral Neuropathy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this research is to develop stem cells from cells within patients’ skin in order to better understand peripheral neuropathy and help develop treatments.

10. Collection of Discarded Cerebrospinal Fluid for Research Purposes

    Rochester, Minn.

    The purpose of this study is to collect and store cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)from patients with normal CSF.  This stored CSF will be used in the future as a culture media to better understand how therapeutic cells delivered into the CSF will behave.
