Mayo Clinic's Neurogenetics and Leukodystrophy Clinic is a neurology-based clinic staffed by a geneticist and genetic counselor team. This highly skilled team routinely evaluates new patients and consults other specialty areas as needed.

Patients are referred based on a personal or family history of neurological issues that may have a genetic cause, such as leukodystrophy, epilepsy, ataxia, spastic paraparesis and neuromuscular conditions.
