Eric Strand, M.D., M.H.S. is a board-certified anesthesiologist and board-certified critical care physician with expertise in multispecialty adult anesthesiology and cardiothoracic critical care.

Dr. Strand is a retired U.S. Army special forces medic. He attended medical school at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He obtained specialty and subspecialty training in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Yale University.

Dr. Strand's clinical practice focuses on multispecialty perioperative care, mechanical circulatory support, and post cardiothoracic critical care. His research interests include: psychosocial outcomes after critical illness, the effects of socioeconomic status on health outcomes, and post-hospital syndrome.
