  1. Pathologist

Dr. Anand Padmanabhan, MBBS, Ph.D., has interest and expertise in the areas of Transfusion medicine, platelet immunology and coagulation. Work from his group has led to a better ways to diagnose and treat anti-Platelet Factor 4 (PF4)-based diseases such as heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia and a new thrombophilia that his group has recently described, MGTS (monoclonal gammopathy of thrombotic/thrombocytopenic significance).
