Paul J. Jannetto, Ph.D., DABCC, FAACC, M.T.(ASCP), is an Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and Laboratory Director at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in Clinical and Forensic Toxicology and controlled substance monitoring
  • Speciation and analysis of essential and heavy metals to diagnosis deficiency or toxicity using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
  • Development of therapeutic drug monitoring assays using mass spectrometry

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Jannetto is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows. He authors expert content and publishes in high-impact scientific journals.
