Dr. Craig Horbinski is a board-certified Neuropathologist and Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic Florida.

Dr. Horbinski's clinical specialty is the molecular diagnostics of brain tumors. His research focuses on meningiomas and IDH mutant gliomas, and his clinical expertise is on molecular diagnostics in brain tumors. To date, Dr. Horbinski has authored over 280 peer-reviewed publications and has obtained extramural research support as a principal investigator from multiple sources, including the National Institutes of Health. He has presented over 120 invited lectures at domestic and international venues.

In 2024 Dr. Horbinski was inducted into the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the American Association of University Pathologists (“Pluto Society”). He is also the current Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council for the American Brain Tumor Association.
