生存率

良性神经鞘肿瘤的长期预后通常非常好。许多肿瘤可能多年保持大小不变，有些则可能通过手术切除。整个肿瘤被完整切除后，很少复发。

恶性神经鞘肿瘤的预后则更为严峻。预后取决于肿瘤的大小、生长速度以及能否完全切除。早期诊断可为控制肿瘤提供最佳机会。这类肿瘤即使经过治疗也可能复发，因此定期随访非常重要。
